The club was formed
in Lagos State of Nigeria by a group of friends
who have played football at competitive level. It
has since its formation attracted so many supporters
and financiers.
The main object of forming the club is to recruit
young and talented youths, who have played for various
Nigerian National Age Group Teams, further groom
them to meet up with the prevailing standards of
International Football, and thereafter sell them
to foreign clubs.
Eledi FC has a standard as well
as a strong, vibrant and highly educated management
team, headed by Anita Isimemen Ojiemen, the President,
a Nigerian- British and a Legal Practitioner/Sports
enthusiast with a very high and good organizational
skills. The management team is assisted by a well
qualified (certified coaches from the Nigerian Institute
of Sports) and experienced technical crew. We have
a wide network of scouting officers with excellent
scouting abilities. Our coaches are technically
and tactically sound in terms of modern football.
The club has a working relationship with Barrister
Ferdinand Idemudia Ojiemen as its accredited players’
Lawyer/agent. We also have a working agreement with
top division clubs in the United Arab Emirate (UAE),
Portugal, Italy and Finland.
The club has strength of character, pedigree and
a winning mentality which are imbibed in all its
players.
All the players of the club
are on offer for sale at any time to any club anywhere
in the world. And when such players are requested,
this club will be financially responsible to take
the players for trials at the requesting club. Routinely,
the whole team is taken on a training/trial tour
to various parts of the world once or twice in a
year depending on the arrangement.
